Q. What is a Renaissance Peel? What does it do?

A. Renaissance is the French word for "rebirth," which is exactly what this peeling is for your skin. More powerful than an at-home exfoliant, the Renaissance Peel penetrates deep into the skin and sheds the outer layers of dead skin cells to reveal soft, new, bright skin. For optimal results, we recommend doing a series of Renaissance Peels over the course of a year.

Q. Will my skin really peel off? Is it safe for anyone? 

A. The treatment is safe on normal skin* and is a wonderful way to rejuvenate without undergoing medical procedures. It works by removing the outer layers of the skin to reveal a bright, even complexion for a more youthful appearance. Typically the peeling of the skin will take place 48 hours after the treatment, and will continue to peel for about two to four days. Individual results may vary for the degree to which the skin will peel. There are certain precautions that need to be taken before and after the Renaissance Peel to ensure a safe and effective result. 

*Under certain conditions it is not advised to do the peel, including allergies, rashes, sunburn, Rosacea, Dermatitis, sensitive skin, pregnancy or breastfeeding, wounds, chemotherapy, etc.
